First Day in Denver
It's amazing how it can take all day long for a two hour flight, isn't it? I've been running since my feet hit the floor at 6:30 a.m. The shuttle bus ride from the airport to the hotel was as long as the plane ride. I think it should have been 40 mins. but the other passengers had to be let off first all over downtown Denver. In my room now after unpacking and there's a gorgeous view even though it's sleeting out there. And my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw that off in the distance is an airport. It can't be the one I flew into, can it? It's odd to be disoriented and clueless. I'll get to the bottom of it though. Surely that's a different airport???
Now I'm off to pick up my registration materials and then go take the Advanced Soapmaking Certification test. I'll take all the good vibes you can send my way.
Adios
PS: Why does Denver always look so flat? They call it the 'mile high city' and yet I can't see any mountains.
