Always carry your camera...

...this is the advice I read again and again on Blip. So when this ladybird flopped onto my handbag as I traveled to London today I carefully slipped my hand into my bag to get at my camera.

Unfortunately it was not as simple as that. The wrist strap of the camera was tied up with a bunch of keys. My iPhone was in my hand but no use. I use a point and shoot camera but at least it has a macro setting.

I am grateful to the lady bird, who patiently bumbled about on my bag while I extracted my camera and keys, undid the muddle and took a few shots. A brown leather bag not the best background but I'm happy with the ladybird, perhaps it would be too.
