Bill's wild garlic soup making

Bill's hunter gathering season begins at this time of year with wild garlic then quickly moves on to the young tender nettle leaves. He makes the BEST soups!

A couple of slices of wild garlic under cheese on toast......Delicious!

We never miss a chance for forgaging. Last year was brilliant for chantrelle mushrooms and the previous year we picked a bumper crop of porcini mushrooms in our local forest which we dried and stored.

(couldnt possibly tell you whereabouts.......... it's a closely guarded secret!!)

Our newly sprouted home grown rhubarb has been turned into crumbles and tarts much to the delight of ours mums who adore it.
