Hillsong

I was looking for a place to stay in Sydney so my friend Vave told me to go to Hillsong Church downtown cuz he used to work for them.

So I did and met a guy who eventually led me to this other guy who found a place for me to stay for the night...pretty cool in itself, but what happened next is cooler..by far.

So I was just hanging out and they had a big youth service on that night and the guy I was going to be staying with was playing keyboard for the worship band.

If you know nothing about Hillsong church and their worship bands... Here is what you need to know..They are the best. They do everything with excellence and the musical abilities of their bands are often better than most performing artists in the world..They are GOOD.

So I was just pumped to be able to hang out, watch them practice, warm up and sound check and stuff.

Then I overhear this guy asking someone if they have a camera handy, but all the guy had was an iphone.. So as he walked past I told him I had my camera there if he needed one.. He then went on to ask if I would be willing to shoot the whole service for him cuz he needed pictures for the website..

I partially fainted then said yes...

I hope I got something that he can use..haha.

It was sooo cool tho. It combined passions once again.. Passion for photography..music..and especially worshiping God. It was an incredibly night. Incredible opportunity..

Learnt tons about taking pictures at concerts.. (Never done that before)
Learnt tons about what it means to lead worship with excellence.

And just had an amazing time being there.

God is so good to me.. It really is incredible the opportunities that I have had in the past few months..
