I was watching soccer (or football if you prefer) the other day and realized something in the midst of the game...

It is the lack of violence in the game itself that makes everything else around the game so violent..

Soccer frustrates me soooo much sometime. I mean.. I like the sport..dont get me wrong I think its cool...but nothing frustrates me more when you are playing a physically competitive game, yet you are unable to do anything physically against the other team...

It was my friends team playing and tempers started to boil over quickly as the time started to wind down and the score was tight. I found myself starting to get angry at the other team even just on the sidelines.. as they were giving cheap shots and diving on the ground.. it made me want to hurl....diving does that to me..I think I have an allergy...

It was then that I decided...you know what would stop this... A good fight. If players would be able to get out their frustrations in the game and if a player knew that if he was going to keep diving he was gonna get beaten down it wouldn't happen...

Fans on the sidelines wouldn't have to fight each other...they would let the players on the field duke it out. If it came to that..

There were no sideline fights in this game (just to be clear haha) but I was just thinking about all the brawls and riots in soccer games around the world...And realized...Physical presence on the field would stop this...

Am I right? probably not entirely..but I think it would help.
