Waiting room

Passing time in the waiting room of the docs. Due to traffic issues Dr. arrived 1.5hrs late and is consequently very behind on her list. Our appointment time was 45mins ago. We haven't spent it all here - nipped out to bookshop and cookie shop for supplies. Played a what's your favourite...game to pass the time. Was more than a little surprised that stoat appeared amongst J's favourite animals and not at all surprised that his favourite day of the week is Super Slobby Sunday.

Not quite the productive morning I had planned but not unwelcome after a fairly late book club last night.

Oh, should probably mention why we're here. Periodically J gets 'growing pains' in his legs during the night. We've had him looked at before and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong, just one of those things you have to live with until they move onto the teenage years, presumably acne and athlete's foot. In the last few weeks though it's become a lot more frequent and intense which were the two criteria for bringing him back, so here we are. Though I'm fully expecting to be told the same as last time.
