Chagala

I am working in Aksai at the moment, and the main operator in town is a consortium called KPO, and they operate a field called Karachaganak. I have been reliably informed that it is affectionately called "cannashagenough" by the expat population here :) I have so far managed to stay out of trouble!

Anyway, my new hotel (been here 4 nights so far) is called the Chagala. It has been commented on by some people on the rig that it is the "Shagalot" hotel. I don't think I am going to be able to escape it!

I have to admit, that I do miss the low-brow nature of a lot of rig conversations!
