Phlox-Fence-Wall-Alley

I snuck around the alley for my blip tonight. My neighbor saw me out there scrounging for pebbles and sticks to prop the camera up with on the retaining wall. She eluded tactfully to the fact that she thought it was strange. Another neighbor thought he snuck out unseen for a cigarette (he thinks his wife is unaware that he still smokes....pfffttt, how funny is that)

The reason I had to look harder for a blip was because I didn't get permission to blip this, or at least, I don't recall getting permission. The blip event for Unstaged was fun to attend virtually...I met some new faces, saw some familiar ones and learned a few things: some blippers are so tiny, some are born troublemakers, some are fabulous painters, some are embarrassed when you tell them they scrub up nicely but mostly I learned that all of them are lovely in person. Congratulations to all the winners of Unstaged, you rock!

A special person made me pancakes for breakfast and set the day off to a fantastic start, inspiring me to get lots done even though the day flew by.

I now have noticed that the day passes at various speeds: between dawn and lunch it goes at a good pace but not too fast. Between 1:00 and 5:00 it just disappears down a vortex at the speed of light. It slows again after dinner but picks up speed around 10:00pm. Between midnight and dawn I don't know what it does, I'm too busy dreaming.
