The Promise of Roses

It looks like Mr. Apple might get a good deal on roses for our upcoming anniversary this year (hint hint). The yard has two rose bushes but only the front one, the Southern facing one, has buds. I think it's going to be gorgeous though.

A big thanks to The Distracted Hausfrau for her inspiring use of texture and her willingness to share. I am not quite there yet but I took one little step forward today.
