Catch the pigeon!

Today the dogs awoke me by barking at a flapping rattling sound in the chimney. As we have a fitted gas fire the National Grid were summonsed to disconnect the fire and rescue Norman the pigeon from behind it.
Sadly the lovely NG man was unable to recommission the fire so we are not allowed to use it till next Wed when Graham the fire fitter will be here. Good job it's nearly May.
