Record Grooves

Well, I didn't scoop a prize in unstaged but still quite chuffed to come in the top 10. Congrats to the winners.

Anyhow, onto tonights bllip. Inspired by another pic I seen somewhere else. Couldn't get in nearly as close but this is the outer grooves between track 1 and 2 of a 33rpm vinyl lp. Taken with a Nikon D90, 105mm f2.8 Sigma Macro lens with 3 extension tubes fitted.

Quite remarkable how these translate into music, extraordinary technology even today, I think anyway.
