Wild flowers

Along the verges of Florida, these flowers are growing wild; sometimes singly, here and there, and sometimes there are carpets of them, mixed in with the clover and wild phlox. I don't know what they are, but they are lovely.

The tile lifting and sanding has been accomplished; the whole house was covered in an inch of grey dust, which set off the fire alarm, and we had a visit from the local firemen. And that is about enough of that.

Thank you to shutterbugsue for identifying these lovely lilies: Zephyranthes (Rain Lilies, Fairy Lilies, Zephyr Lilies)
