Interesting ...

Just recently the garage has been cleared out. Why? A returning son selling his house needing room for storage ... But enough about that - in the garage, unearthed after many years, was this blast from the past. Can you tell what it is yet?

It?s what remains of my snooker table. I think I was given this in 1983 which makes this just shy of thirty years old, though has obviously not been played on for over half that time. Back in those days I used to play on this six foot version of a snooker table and imagine I was the game's rising young star, Steve Davis.

As life goes full circle, the then young "interesting" one is still on our screens, right now, as the veteran of the game rolling back the years in the World Championships (albeit not for much longer as I type). This table is thirty years of my past, gathering dust and needing now to be consigned to just that - the past. I wonder what objects from now I will look back on almost thirty years from now, and which people will be the constants?
