The day after ..

After ten days away -

the fridge is empty
three loads of washing waiting
not to mention the resulting ironing
I refuse to take note
of the dust on the furniture
or the spots on the floors
that were there even before we left
lousy housewife!
the dishwasher begs to be emptied
the grocery list is growing
Johann has started to sweep and mop the stoep -
(many leaves have been blown in by the wind)
the dogs are coming home from the kennels
and their quarters have to be presentable!
our resident stoep frogs were restricted
to an enclosed area while we were away
luckily none of them succumbed
as no bodies were evident on our return ..
only poo and pee

so many images on the memory sticks
waiting to be scrutinzed, edited and filed ..

and then there is the new digital scanner .. hmm ..
can't wait.
