Flowers and Fibonacci
We were talking numbers earlier. Henry was pulling petals off a daisy and asked why some flowers had one petal (like the Calla Lilies his Grandad grows) and others, like the daisy, had lots. This led on to a discussion about Fibonacci numbers and how prevalent they are in nature...and we've been spotting fascinating Fibonacci patterns all evening...in snail shells, pineapples, flowers and other things :-)
