Five out of five. Perfect.

Really?

I've had to switch my ratings off a couple of times in the last week or so, as I have been attracting some members of the serial five-raters clique. People expressing themselves this way (fluffy mellifluous language aside) is not the issue in itself, and as long as they stay away from my journal, I'm happy...

It's just...

I remember when hitting the Rated page was something to be proud of. Nowadays though, five stars are dealt out with such alarming regularity that their effectiveness as a rating tool has been rendered completely obsolete for those of us who still make the effort to use the system properly.

Oh well. Thank goodness for Favourites.
