Lightning colors the clouds purple

Taken at night durning a thunderstorm. It was quite dark and I'm surprised even this (horrible picture) came out. I pointed straight up and tried to anticipate a lightning strike (they were happening all over the sky). At least I got a nice picture of what the clouds look like backlit.
