Snyper

A colleague had reminded me that the World Press photos were being exhibited at the parliament. It was better organised than last year, and great photos, but way too busy. Realised that Harry Benson was speaking as part of the festival of Politics (just when you thought we couldn't get any morefestivals in this city!). After having seen Mr Benson's exhibition last year (twice) it was good to hear him speak, he says Amy Winehouse is a "nice wee girl"

Wandering up the Royal Mile I came across a bloke (Snyper) putting the finishing touches to his graffitti. Being of a certain age I am not particuarly a fan of graffitti, it can enhance bland hoardings, but I don't think it does much for an Old Town close.

Despite there being so much to do in the city, had a night in, listening to the radio.
