MikroKorg Synthesizer/Vocoder
I have rearranging/rewiring my 'studio' (spare bedroom) for the past week as it's got out of control a bit with new things being cloggen to the end of ols things and it's spaghetti central behind the desk.
This is one of my favourite all time synths, mainly because of the vocoder and the bowel shuddering bass, so I thought I'd make it todays picture after putting the finishing touches to the setup (the final one being dismantling the new keyboard stand and putting it back together the right way up.)
I also was reading some of the discussions on using noise in digital images to simulate film grain. I find that using the unsharp mask filter in photoshop with a small radius, no threshold and the amount whacked up to 500% works for me, and is applied to this pic. It's a bit more subtle than the noise that a low ISO seting gives you.
Just my opinion.
