Flagging the day

Today I enjoyed work.

Yep, I really did.

Had a lovely day out and about in the sunshine. The start of things to come. No more Cinderella for me, I get to join in the party. I used to do this job, but in a different area, so today was wonderful and the weather wasn't too bad either. It may have been quiet and I might have been shadowing another colleague, but it brought back to me the reason I became a midwife.

I have come home, I just hope that "They" let me stay for a while.

I came home via the loch and pottered around the garden. For those of you who wouldn't know, this would have been impossible in my other job as I would have been shattered and late home.
