On her feet!

As mentioned on that day, Ellis started walking on her own last Saturday. All our children were late, but with Ellis it took even longer than with Nienke and Inge. Saturday, Ellis - 19 months old - finally decided it was time for her to take an impressive number of steps without someone holding at least one of her hands.

It hasn't stopped there! Now that she knows she can, she won't stop and it's almost impossible to pick her up and sit her at the table or leave a place where she has been enjoying walking around. She's still crawling every now and then, especially if she thinks it should go really fast, but she's definitely enjoying it!
