The head of the beast

A day spent mostly staring at a computer screen and not seeing any blips at all. So I just blipped the head of my banjo to serve as a reminder to myself that I have lots of practice to do for a big project in the summer. There are several slightly new tunings and hence different fingerings to get to grips with.....

It's an open back, five-string banjo but the fifth string only starts halfway down the neck, so you can't see it here. It's a fairly basic type dating probably from the 1930s - not as beautiful as Debby's de-luxe model, but I'm very fond of it.
