Always Argyll

Its a miracle! (?)

We took the boys for our first we trip to the beach today ,well more the board walk ,then stopped of for some sushi .They were very well behaved no mental tantrums ,well not until we got back to the car then they both went nuts as it was nearly feed time.As a side note where the restaurant is a some very large trees which at dusk all the parrots come and roost ,there must be thousands of them and the noise is something else as a novelty it is pretty cool till you go back to your car and it is covered in pooh.
The guy in the picture ,if you have not seen this sort of thing before is on a stand up paddle board.
looks easy but is quite difficult .
I have had half a dozen or so paddles on the creek where it is flat water but when you get Even the smallest bit of surf ,gets a bit dicey.
In the photo there is a very small swell ,perfect for learners .To see one of these guys cutting up a 3-4 metre wave is something.
About 3 months ago they were recording 15 metre waves of the point ,no surfing that day.Although they do tow people in on jet skis when the surf gets really big.Being from Loch Fyne still getting used to the waves.
I think the stand up paddling came from Hawaii a number of years ago.
