His final wishes

A famiy member passed away a few years ago and requested we burn all his old paper work. We have only just gt round to it and amongst other things we found cards and letters. Although it was sad to burn them, we wanted to fufill his final wishes.
I couldn't help but take this picture it felt strangely symbolic.
