He came in to visit today, clicking his heels because he got a 96 on his monthly assessment at the V+A Hotel. It was no easy 96, as he had to perform over 50 admin, cooking, and service tasks. He is 5 months into this 6-month "practical" for the hotel school, and is certain to pass the unit with high marks. If we can get him through next year, he'll have a highly'prized hospitality degree. His dorm room was robbed for the second time this week, but he had most his clothes, and uniforms, hidden. He gets mugged regularly, both at school and when he goes home to the townships to visit his mom, but it never really gets him down. I love this guy.
