Exploring Basingstoke

I don't really do much exploring around Basingstoke, but we decided to wander down to Eastrop Park; the last time we'd been there was when Fran did a 5k Santa run there in the Winter. In the summer it's a very different place, very lively and remarkably popular.

There were a few tulips in some of the flower displays in the park that really didn't look like they belonged there - they were sore red thumbs in oceans on purples and yellows. This one, however, was standing with a couple of others and I just liked the way the light shone through it.
