New tricks

The kids wanted to go to the beach today, despite the rain, so we headed South a bit to escape the gloomy weather. My macro lens has reinvigorated my interest in trying new things, photography-wise - hence this shot. A bit overprocessed, I know, but I learned lots.

I've been struggling a bit with Photoshop Elements lately: since I installed my lovely graphics tablet, the organiser seems to crash really often. To get around it, I downloaded the (slightly newer) version of PSE that came free with the tablet in the hope that that would fix the problem. It hasn't. Nothing's simple.
