a cry for help
i really wanted to post a positive blip today with some uplifting text to match but, alas this is not to be the case. instead of boring the world with another rendition of how lousy work was i merely pose a question. a very simple one at that.
where can i find glass bottles of irn-bru in london?
since moving here, whenever someone from home visits me i get them to bring bottles with them but that means having to eek out whatever supply i happen to have until the next visitor arrives. this does happen to be my mother most of the time, which is unfortunate. you see she's only five feet tall (with her hands in the air), and therefore can't bring more than six bottles at any time. now i know i could simply drink the stuff from the plastic bottles but it doesn't taste the same. its the same with cans, it taints the flavour. maybe its all in my head but i still say there is a difference in the taste, which is why i am seeking a place that sells glass bottles of bru down here. besides you need a bottle of that sitting beside you when you're eating yer fish supper. although that in itself brings the problem of getting yer hands on some "chippy" sauce. again this is another product i get imported all the way fae sunny leith. i've managed to convert a few folk down here to the stuff as well.
so before i go i ask all you blippers out there, if you know of anywhere in london i can purchase glass bottles of irn-bru, please, please let me know.
enjoy the bank holiday weekend folks
