Banana Cream Pie

I always have something sweet in the house for my honey. A trait that I inherited from my mom. Last week he got a Lemon Meringue Pie and this week it was a Banana Cream Pie. I got the recipe out of my mom's original cookbook that dates back to 1945. It is one of the best custard recipes that I have found. Next week, he might get a Lemon Cake if he is a good boy.
