Fritillaries

I think these Snake's Head Fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris) are real beauties. I planted then under a bit of our side green a few years back and they have formed a nice clump now - the way the stem curves round and the checkerboard effect on the flowers make them a nice subject for a pic.
