Road trip....
never before have I done this... just grabbed my camera with one hand and without looking pointed and shot. I'm amazed there's even an image here.
While driving through a small town I passed by an older model van that was rusting out and trailing blue smoke from the exhaust. The suspension was shot and by the sound of the engine is was long past needing a tune up.
The weather, chilly and overcast but none-the-less the back window open with a little face peering out at the world gliding by. The chocolate smeared presence with such a serious look more than captured my attention... it grabbed at me.
I wondered what this little soul's story was... and whether or not in a previous point in my life, if I would have even noticed it's passing.
So today as I was choosing my blip... scrolling through perfectly focused photos of freshly caught trout and their fishermen... I came across this fuzzy photo in the bunch.
Travel safely little one... whoever you are and wherever you're headed.
There will be plenty of fish pictures in my future, but I'm not sure if I will ever pass you again.
Peace
