I did my last stint covering #ashcloud teachers today. The morning went well, with a little hiccup which I had to deal with, but nothing anything too major. After, I had enough time to pick Charlotte up from school. Luckily, as it was St George's Day, she was already in 'street' clothes as we went directly to Daddy's work to pick him up and we all headed over to Shrewsbury, with a quick stop for something to eat.

We were lucky enough to have tickets for the Shrewsbury Cartoon Festival and specifically, an evening with John McCrea on the Comic Creation Workshop. We had a brilliant time and Charlotte gain a tremendous amount of insight into the work involved in creating a comic strip/book series but also the way the thought-process can change along the way without having to scrap your original ideas.

John was great with Charlotte (who was the youngest one there). We had to come up with ideas (as a group) for a comic page. John and Charlotte.
