Charmed
The picture from today is of the necklaces each child as my kids school are given. They earn charms to add to it by reaching goals such as moving up book levels, math awards, behavior, hours parents work at the school, etc. I caught this picture when leaving my middle sons 2nd grade class performance today. He was a sheep in the a short play 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'. The 5th graders adapted the script for the 2nd graders to perform. The 5th graders came in to view the performance as well as a second performance known as 'Belling The Cat'. Liam had no lines in the play other than making sheep noises and acting the role of a sheep, but he was funny nonetheless! I like the incentive of these necklaces...they proudly wear them every Friday during 'Town Hall' assembly.
