nine lives

Spent part of the afternoon giving Keisha, our (nearly) 12-year old cat, some TLC.

We adopted her back in 1999 from a cat rescue group who had found her behind a local restaurant. Wenearly lost her last month to what the vet diagnosed as "lump kidney disease", but she's miraculously beat the odds (and even the vet told us that in all her years of pracitce she'd never seen a cat pull through like Keisha did).

Apparently her nine lives aren't up! :)
