The Knocker Series

I knew I would have to return/resort to this one day.

This knocker is on a tiny door which I would think leads to a cellar at street level. The door is imprisoned by bars so it's quite difficult getting a camera in there to take a photo, and I should imagine I looked fairly suspicious. But you only live once, and though the Police Station is within whistling disatnce I got away with it.

It is a fascinating knocker, with a hand holding a hammer, and a horse underneath. Perhaps it used to belong to a blacksmith. I would love to unscrew it, take it home, and give it a good clean and inspection; but that would be pushing today's luck too far!
