Caution Long Vehicle

The opportunity of a good landrover track right to the bothy door meant the temptation to load the trailer up with fine food, whisky and that's a 20kgs. bag of coal on top was just too great.

We were blessed with fine weather and what a pleasure it was to sit outside in the sun reading a good book for a couple of hours. The gulls that nest on the island nearby have newly arrived to their summer haunt and will soon busy themselves in nest building. A few hours later my friend surprised me by arriving a couple of hours early and we spent a convivial evening talking about hill days in the past and expeditions of the future. A fine place this.
