Camera Connection Kit

Today Fedex delivered my iPad camera connection kit. It is more than I hoped for!

Loading in pictures was a breeze.....yes it took my RAW files. I was able to then edit the photos in a third party app (not sure what is being used the actual RAW data or embedded jpeg). Connecting the iPad to computer you can then offload the files in their original form (but it will not be my ongoing workflow - I will just not delete SD cards and load them when home).

This definitely means I can take just my iPad away with me and still enjoy my photography. Exciting!
