The Cathedral
A eerie place. Well named, Cathedral quarry - inspiring awe and hushed voices. Sound pings around the cavernous slate quarry, distorting, collecting, amplifying and reverberating. Disorientating and vast. In the respectful silence echoes Drip Drip Drip
There are ghosts in these quarries - silent now from their violent birth.
A playground for tourists and climbers now.
I seem drawn back to this place time and time again, finding beauty in these post industrial landscapes, and the slate itself, yet I always feel uneasy here, senses prickling, eyes and ears straining for - what?
