Pavement Artist

Today I embarked on the 400 mile round trip to Newcastle. All of which I completed in glorious sunshine and surrounded by glorious scenery as I drove through Cumbria and Northumberland. The road stretched before me like a broad black ribbon meandering round the contours of the hills and mountains. I swtiched off the radio so that I could take in the beauty all around.
