Castlemilk Stables

I didn't even know this place existed until reading a few days ago that it had been nominated for a building design award which it duly won.

The 'My Place' awards are aimed at rewarding designs that benefit communities and are nominated by the people who use the buildings.

The historic B listed Castlemilk House stables block was restored to resemble its 1790 appearance but inside the architects (Elder & Cannon) have turned it into housing and offices.
