Wild West

One of the many sights that I have seen while on the road from Uralsk to Aksai (I am going out to a rig to run a bit). It is definitely a different world to the glitz and glamour of downtown Almaty :)

It is a pretty bad road, poorly maintained (so bad, that I would say it makes Aberdeen's roads look like the silken layers of tarmac you may find in Monaco). Often teeming with cows and sheep, it is a little hazardous to say the least!

This one photo is dedicated to ABZQuine though, she likes the horsies and I think this is how she imagined I would be getting around in KZ!
