Skunk cabbage leaf

Early morning trip to meet friend at Morton Arboretum to do some shooting of spring flowering trees. It was such a beautiful day just to be out, perfect. I love shooting with my friend Jackie, we both like to take our time and go slow and observe.
Got some great flowering Redbuds and Crabapples, but that was with my big camera.
There is a patch in a wetter section of Skunk cabbage. These are large leaves and I really liked the veins and the patterns. The sun was back lighting the leaf which made for a good warm light.
