Red-winged blackbird

Beautiful day in south-west Ohio today. I had a dentist appointment this morning - not my favorite place to go, but I must say both the hygienist and the dentist are really nice, and I got a clean bill of health till the next time, so that's good! I came back home for an early lunch, then got out for a walk at Glenwood Gardens, where I snapped this red-winged blackbird, before my class on Tudor England. The guy who takes the class is such a good presenter - well organized, informative, and he has a great sense of humor. He is British himself, though, like us, hasn’t lived in the UK for many years - he's married to an American. I could sit and listen to him for hours! Later this evening off out to choir practice. A better day than yesterday.
