Census facts.  We will see more in upcoming tiles and I hope to present a blip comparing the pie charts of the different decades.
I've noticed that the word THE and NEIGHBORHOOD on the top of the tiles have the same exact spacing and angles, which leads me to believe they had a lettered block to press into the tiles and then just added the correct year date that corresponded to the text. Then I guess they put the glaze on afterwards--some of the tiles have so much glaze on the upper section of the tiles that it is somewhat difficult to read the dates.
