Heart on my Sleeve

I bought 2 of these concrete angels at the Irene Market, outside Pretoria, just before Xmas last year. I love the wire wings and the wooden hearts... they have a special place on the wooden kist in the entrance hall at our house. For me they symbolise the unconditional love we get from Paddington and Baloo, who always carry their hearts on their sleeves. To them it's irrelevant whether we've been away for a week or quickly went to the toilet... they're equally overjoyed to see us! If people could love each other the way we're loved by our dogs, the world would be a truly amazing place:)
