privilege

This morning I managed to fit in an hour on the water. It was perfectly still and calm and peaceful.

It is a privilege to be able to go out on the water as the world rushes by and to see these beautiful creatures glide by, warming themselves in the sun.

I'm lucky to be able to do it, but only because I make my own luck.
