Red hot

Tulips in my front garden, late afternoon. These come up year after year. As soon as they've gone over I forget that I've planted them, so every spring they come as a surprise to me.


Note:
Am still puzzled by the Flower setting on the Scene (SCN) mode on my camera, It only seems to work when flowers sit perfectly still, which of course they seldom do. Half the shots I took came out with the flowers blurred and the leaves or stems in sharp focus. Any ideas?
