Comfort Zone

Wow! 100 blips, in a row!! The time has gone so quickly, but it also feels like I have been doing this forever! I am loving blip, it has taken over a lot of my life and is very addictive! I find myself looking at the world differently now, assessing everything for it's blip worthiness! It has also caused me a bit of stress! Those evenings when it gets to 9pm and I realise that I haven't taken any photos yet, so a mad rush to find something follows!

Discovering that I have a love for photography is fantastic! This community is even better, it gives me the challenge of taking one photo a day, but trying to make it the best photo I can. Seeing the amount of talent on blip is inspiring and motivating. I see so many awesome photos and I want to improve my own! It is getting me out of my comfort zone and teaching me to approach things in a different way. I am continually learning new and different things my camera can do, and also what I can do with the camera!

I am also learning a bit about what I can do with the photos I take to enhance or manipulate them, in Picasa and Photoshop. It is a slow process but i'm getting there! This is a great environment to try as it is so encouraging!
