Memories

Just a quick blip tonight as I'm down visiting my boyfriend's parents. Unfortunately it's not for a happy occasion as it's for a funeral.

I guess a funeral in some ways is a happy occasion when you celebrate the life of and share stories with each other about the person who has recently died.

The goldfish in the room that I'm sleeping in tonight made me grateful that I don't have a memory like a goldfish! I am able to listen to the family share their memories and be thankful that at a time like this there can be some smiles involved with sharing memories of happier times.
