Towering guardians
One of the things I love about bilipping is how it forces me to look around me when I would otherwise remain preoccupied with the business of daily life.
It was our 'late dinner' day and as I was waiting for the grill to cook the chicken (no spiders today thank goodness), I realized I'd been too busy (with what though?) all day to even think about my camera. Grabbing the camera, I went out in search of a quick blip before I had to turn the chicken and set the table. At the end of the drive, near the gate I open and close every day, I paused to look up - for really the first time. These trees stand guard at the gate, but I'd never given them more than a passing glance, and never looked up... I wonder what else I miss in my too-busy pre-occupied state?
